6 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeOur accredited guide will meet you at pick up point and he will drive you to Mikumi national park via Morogoro. Following breakfast, we leave Dar es salaam for our first stop at Mikumi National Park a 6 hours drive from Dar via Morogoro Refreshments and light snacks will be provided en-route. We will arrive in Mikumi national park at 1:00 pm. This often allows one to see the animals at rest, seeking shelter from the unrelenting heat under the branches of large trees. A leisurely lunch will be served inside the park. The remainder of the day will be spent inside the park. 7 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeAn early morning departure from the cottages is strongly advised for a better chance at spotting lions. A departure of 6:30 a.m. is recommended. We’ll be back at the hotel between 8:00 am and 9:00 am for breakfast and afterward, drive for another game drive until lunchtime. After lunch, we will have a rest of 2 hours before going for an evening drive.
