Highlights
This hiking trail is one of the few untouched hidden trails near Mumbai.
It is secluded & far from crowds & chaos which now is the norm at most hiking spots in the city.
The route takes us climbing over a ridge that offer an almost 360 panoramic view overlooking a massive lake.
The landscape is untouched by human activity and is left wild & raw. The area is covered in thick shrubbery and grass. There is good reason why we have been hosting hike in this destination since the past 10 years.
Itinerary
Bhartiya Navik Sena Union
We will hike up a hidden trail near Mumbai, that overlooks a pristine lake. The climb is a ridge climb and one where we will gain elevation quickly. After hiking for 1.5 hours, we will reach a untouched plateau atop the mountain where we will pause for a short breakfast or lunch. If you are feeling adventurous, we will continue past the plateau and climb upwards to the top of the mountain placing us at 2500 feet. We will technically enter a hill station area that is a bio-hub in the state. After a brief break atop, we make our way down just as we arrived.
