Start your day right with a breakfast adventure at Tokyo's Tsukiji Jogai (Outer) Market. While Tsukiji’s Inner Market auction has moved to a new site in Toyosu, the bustling atmosphere and eateries of the Outer Market continue to offer a taste of local life and excellent seafood.

After meeting your guide, begin your journey through the market, passing by the historic Tsukiji Hongwanji Temple. You’ll explore the market, which consists of a few blocks of narrow lanes crowded with wholesale and retail shops, restaurants, and kitchen equipment dealers. Taste fresh seafood along the way—including tamagoyaki (a rolled omelet), assorted sashimi or boiled crab meat, fish cake, sushi or a tuna bowl, and fresh or grilled oyster—and conclude your tour at Namiyoke Shrine.
