  Today you will be picked up from your hotel for a guided tour of Cairo. Your guide will take you to Tahrir Square, the heart of downtown Cairo.   After visiting the Egyptian Museum you will be brought to the old Coptic part of Cairo. Since Egypt was one of the first countries to embrace Christianity, there is Christian heritage to be found in Cairo. You visit the Church of Abu Sergah (Church of St. Sergius and St. Bacchus), the Church of St. Barbara and the Hanging Church. Also, you bring a visit to the old Jewish Ben Ezra Synagogue.

• Mosque of Muhammad Ali

  Mohammed Ali mosque (also known as the Alabaster Mosque) and the Citadel, where you can enjoy a great view of the city. Your last visit will be to Khan El-Khalili, which is one of the largest and oldest bazaars of the Middle East, and is frequented by locals and tourists alike. After touring the sites you will be transferred back to your hotel by an air-conditioned vehicle. Information from your Egyptologist tour guide will be provided at every stop, and free time will be permitted for individual exploration of the ancient monuments. Conclude the day tour in an air-conditioned vehicle back to the original pickup location.
