The Pantanal, located in central South America, is the world's largest
tropical wetland. Artists vividly capture the long-awaited survival of animals

environments. The exhibition will feature approximately 100 works on
impressive large-scale screens, some exceeding two meters in size.

Utagawa Kuniyoshi (1797–1861) was a ukiyo-e artist from the late Edo period.
With his imaginative creativity, modern design sense and humor, he created
brand-new works that subverted the history of Ukiyo-e and were widely loved
both in Japan and abroad.
This exhibition features approximately 400 prints, brush paintings, and other
works by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, including warrior paintings and playful paintings.
