The Red Fort, also known as Lal Qila, is a historic fort located in the heart of Old Delhi, India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century and served as the main residence for the emperors of the Mughal dynasty. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is an important symbol of India's rich cultural and historical heritage.
