The Spiaggia degli Inglesi is located in Ischia Porto in the area of S.Alessandro (famous for its festival which takes place every year at the end of August). It is a very beautiful beach, close to the Port of Ischia (about 1 km away). It can be reached either by walking along a small road that descends from the hill of S.Alessandro (which is located on the state road that connects Ischia Porto to Casamicciola), or by the small road which is located a few meters from the port and precisely the area of the Olympic Quay , where the ferries depart from. The narrow street is located behind the ticket offices right on the crossroads. The beach has fine sand and some pebbles, it doesn't get very sunny and the seabed is quite shallow. There is also a bar restaurant with a spa facility. It is not a very large beach and not very busy. We do not recommend it for elderly people as there are some steps to access the beach which can be tiring.

It is a small oasis of peace in which the Negombo thermal park is located.
