Nicknamed the ‘Venice of the Alps’ this wonderful town is the jewel of Alps. Colourful buildings perched next to waterways house endless restaurants, bistros and boutique shops. A steep walk to the top of the Old Town reveals the impressive Chateau D’Annecy. The Wonderful Lake that surrounds the town is one of the most pristine in Europe. Boat tours around the Alpine lake are highly recommended to finish of the day.


You will also be able to visit the beautiful Castel of Montrollier. The medieval castle of Montrottier and its remarkable collections is located in the Savoyard foreland between the Rhone and the limestone Pre-Alps. The castle houses wonderful sets of furniture, earthward, lace, weapons and rare objects from Africa and the far East.

    Just 15 minutes from Annecy, Montrottier chateau is the stuff of fairytales. Its rooms house an impressive range of curiosities which represent unique insight into many eras and interests (traditional weaponry, Oriental collections, earthenware…). The gardens offer an entertaining interactive tour which leads visitors to meet the estate’s former residents: a spy, an ambassador or a noble lady…

    Lake Annecy, in the Haute-Savoie region of France, is fed by mountain springs and known for its clean water. At its north end, Annecy has a medieval old town with canals and bridges. The 13th-century Château de Menthon-Saint-Bernard perches above the lakeside village of Menthon-Saint-Bernard. The town of Saint-Jorioz has a popular beach. There are trails around the shore and pleasure boats dot the lake in summer.
