National Crafts Museum -

National Museum-

The National Museum of India holds 200,000 works of art from the pre-historic era and up to modern day and from India and other countries. It is one of the country’s largest museums,It was established in 1949 A.D.

Highlights include the Indus valley relics which date back to before 2500B.C; treasures of the Silk Route; a collection of Mughal and Rajput miniature paintings; sacred relics of Buddha, Clothes, Coins, Very old statue of Hindu and Goddess Etc.

National Gallery of Modern Art - 

 National Museum has nearly 17,000 paintings, representing all important styles of Indian miniatures.

It is one of the largest collections of miniature paintings in the country.

Gandhi Smiriti- (Museum of Mahatma Gandhi)

Gandhi Smriti formerly known as Birla House or Birla Bhavan,It is the location where Mahatma Gandhi spent the last 144 days of his life and was assassinated on January 30, 1948.A.D. Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum-

Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum was the residence of the former Prime Minister of India. It was later converted into a museum. One can see the collection of rare photographs of the Nationalist movement, the personal moments of the Pandit Nehru and Gandhi family and her childhood. Also tourist can see the museum of Rajiv Gandhi.
