Highlights
Rafflesia Sighting
Trekking is the main and most rewarding experience you can have while visiting Belum Temenggor. It's literally a journey in the magnificence of the rainforest. You will also get to see Rafflesia, which is the largest flower in the world.
Orang Asli Village
Any visit to Royal Belum would not be complete without a stopover at the Orang Asli (aborigines) village. The aborigines continue live off nature through hunting, fishing and gathering jungle products as their main source of livelihood.
Waterfall
You will find shoals of fish, either Kelah, Tengas or Temoleh swimming around in the waterfalls. Do remember to bring along your swim suit and also extra clothing to change.
Salt Licks (4D3N only)
There are two wildlife sighting huts called "bumbungs" stationed near the salt licks located on the north and south part of Sungai Papan. Salt licks are natural salt deposits which animals regularly lick to get their much-needed mineral sustenance.
