A national science museum where you can enjoy and experience cutting-edge
science and technology, ranging from the latest technology and robotics to
global environments, space exploration, and the mysteries of life. In addition
to permanent exhibitions, it serves as a place to think and discuss what kind
of future we will create through a variety of programs, including talk events
and workshops.
- The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan) will be closed from October 1, 2026, to April 22, 2027. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Purchase Notice
- The museum is closed on Tuesdays. *However, it will be open on Tuesdays on April 28th, May 5th, July 21st, July 28th, August 4th, August 11th, August 18th, August 25th, and September 22nd, 2026.
- The museum will be closed from October 1, 2026 to April 22, 2027.
- The facility may be temporarily closed on certain days for maintenance.
- Admission to the dome theater and special exhibitions is subject to separate charges.
- Those with a disability certificate, benefit recipient certificate, or other proof of disability are admitted free of charge, along with one accompanying person.
- Children aged 6 and under (preschoolers) are admitted free of charge.
- Admission is free for those under 18 on Saturdays.
- Please check in advance for information regarding free admission days for the permanent exhibition.
