Just a few hours outside Bangkok lies a historic town called Kanchanaburi.
Learn about the struggles that the prisoners of war endured as you walk along
the tracks of the Burma Railway, which is often called the "Death Railway."
Pause to take in the gripping view of the River Kwai down below. Take the
train from River Kwai Bridge to Tam Kasae for 90 minutes. Experience the river
from a longtail boat as you ride along the picturesque riverscapes.
Gain a deeper understanding of Thailand's war history at the JEATH War Museum.
Browse through the galleries of paintings, drawings, photos, and maps made by
former prisoners. Stop to reflect at Phra Pathom Chedi, the tallest pagoda in
