- Spot Introduction -

・Jeongnimsa Temple Site Jeongnimsa Temple was built during the period when
Baekje moved its capital to Buyeo. The layout of the main buildings is such
that the central axis, reaching from the central gate, five-story stone
pagoda, main hall, and lecture hall, lies on a straight line from north to
south. Most of the wooden buildings were destroyed in the wars, and only the
five-story stone pagoda (National Treasure No. 9) remains, showcasing the
grandeur of Baekje's Buddhist culture.

• Buyeo National Museum: The Buyeo National Museum houses over 10,000
artifacts from the Baekje period in the Chungcheongnam-do region, including
over 1,000 national treasures and other cultural properties, allowing visitors
to appreciate the splendid Buddhist culture of Baekje.

• The Tomb of King Muryeong: The Tomb of King Muryeong is the joint burial
site of King Muryeong, the 25th king of Baekje, and his queen. It is
constructed using brickwork. Excavated in an undisturbed state, it yielded a
total of 2,906 Baekje artifacts of 108 different types, including the king and
queen's golden crowns, and was selected as the most important royal tomb of
Baekje.
