At Hirosaki Castle, you can walk through the castle park which is famous for its cherry blossom in early to mid-April.
At the main wing, you can see exterior of the castle tower which is one of twelve castle towers remaining from 19th century.
*The castle tower is under repair so we cannot go inside until 2032.
If we have time, you can visit a couple of samurai houses near by.

Near the Hirosaki castle park a Japanese restaurant serves nice local Japanese food that I recommend.
