Highlights
Experience the colors and scents of the tropics year-round! Bloedel Conservatory is a domed lush paradise located in Queen Elizabeth Park atop the City of Vancouver’s highest point. Exotic birds, koi fish and over 500 tropical plants and flowers thrive within its temperature-controlled environment. Constructed through a very generous donation from Prentice Bloedel, Bloedel was dedicated at its opening in 1969 “to a better appreciation and understanding of the world of plants."

Bloedel Conservatory
Admission Ticket IncludedWhether you are interested in beautifully colored birds, tropical forests and flowers, or the more subtle scents of a healing garden, Bloedel Conservatory offers something for every member of your family. You will find red, blue and dwarf Macaws, African parrots, exotic Finches and Chinese pheasants at Bloedel. Don’t be surprised if they answer when you say hello. Chatty parrots and other birds appear effortlessly at home in the exotic environment of Bloedel Conservatory. Pick up a children’s scavenger hunt at the front desk on your way in! Bloedel Conservatory demonstrates the importance of habitat protection and plant conservation.
