The excursion begins in the embarking pier located in “Bajo de las Sombras” port, about 6 km before the glacier Balconies- wher e you embark for a 10 minutes navigation across the Rico Arm, enjoying breathtaking views of the Perito Moreno glacier’s front walls. Pick up the crampons and walk following the lateral moraine, for an hour and a half, until we reach the access to the glacier. After fitting harnesses and crampons on our footwear we start the ice trekking. During the walk you will be introduced to a number of features within the Ice., huge moulins, crevasses, caves, and above all the special feeling of exploring the middle of the ice. Expert bilingual mountain guides will always lead you, looking after your safety and teaching you the “ways of the ice”. You will hike for about 3 hours and a half, and spend some time having lunch somewhere on the ice. Back on the moraine we start our descent back to the port, to take the boat and navigate for 20 minutes.

The journey starts from El Calafate, going through a road full of ranches to Lago Ropa Camping, where you will hike through the woods up to the coast of the lake. There you will take a boat ride up to the south of Argentino Lake. After a one hour hike up to Frias Lake you will take a 30 minutes ride in a Zodiac rubber boat to get to the other side of the lake where you will hike for one hour and a half towards Glacier Grande. During this hike there is a stop for lunch. (Lunch box included) Overnight @ Patagonia Rebelde Boutique Hotel.

You will be transferred in a Van to El Chalten, time of travel will be approximately 3 hours. On arrival to chalten we will take you to your hotel to leave your staff. Once you are ready for the tour the tour guides will receive you, give you information and give you the equipment to start the activities on the water. At the beginning you will be kayaking through 4km of calm, meandering waters with views of Fitz Roy on your back. Later you will be going into the canyon. After the first rapid, we will start going through many fun and exciting rapids that will make the raft shake! Ups and downs through 8 kms, will lead you and make you feel the strength of nature. The last two Km are very calm.

From el Chalten you will hike towards Poincenot Camping (4 hours) and then cross the White River. From there on, the trail starts ascending up to 400 meters until you reach Laguna de los Tres. The trail ends in a Moraine with an extraordinary view of the lake and De los Tres Glacier. This is the closest view you will have of the Fitz Roy Mount and the surrounding sharp mountains. Going down the moraine you can surround the lagoon until its end, where you can also see Sucia Lagoon and its hanging glaciers! Overnight @ Hosteria Senderos Meals: B, L (lunch box), D

This trekking trail has a variety of panoramic viewpoints where you can watch Solo Mount, Adela Mountain and the stunning Torre Mount. Through the ride, you will also see Grande and Torre Glaciers. You will continue your hike bordering the river for 500 meters until you reach Torre Lagoon and its impressive view: Torre Glacier, Adela Mountain, Torre and Mocho Mount, Egger Tower, Standhart Bifida and Four Fingers Mounts.
