Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaj Mahal, the beautiful monument stands proudly on the banks of River Yamuna. The Elephant Conservation and Care Centre and the Elephant Hospital is bordered with the river Yamuna, surrounded by farmland, and a 10 minute walk through a lush green field leads our elephants to the river where they enjoy taking long and relaxing dips!
