Your friendly guide will meet you at your hotel then you will be transferred by the private comfortable vehicle to Ciqikou Ancient Town.
Ciqikou is an old town preserved in sprawling modern Chongqing, about half hour drive from the city center. It's an old sleepy town built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The town's name, Ciqikou, means porcelain harbor, and the community prospered from the porcelain trade.It offers a glimpse of the peaceful laid-back life in Chongqing countryside and you can take a break from the busy commercial world of Chongqing here. Relax and take your time to check the interesting small shops along the street and have lunch in a local restaurant.
Later, head to the most famous building in Chongqing ---- Liziba Metro Station, to witness a wonder of architectural, metro across an apartment building.
Next, visit Jiefangbei Square. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the government built a seventh floor six-sided cylindrical at the intersection of the national road, the livelihood road, the civil liberties road and the minister road in downtown Chongqing. It was called "people's liberation monument" and originally surrounded with low buildings. Now Jiefangbei is Chongqing's CBD with all the big shops and department stores, here you can see the most prosperous side of Chongqing.
The last stop is Hongyadong. It built along the river and has a history of more than 2300 years. HongYaDong is a typical Diaojiao building( traditional Hanging House) which is built on hillside and on riverside,with one side of the house resting on rocks while the other three sides supported by wooden or bamboo poles.Walking around here to see both old and new in Chongqing.
