Always wanted to go Ayutthaya but didn’t do it last round. I think now the day tour is getting cheaper with many options or many tour companies running the tour which make the price much much lower. In total we visited 5 sites and the price is definitely worth it. Each place the tour guide gave about 30 minutes on our own time for photo taking which I think is adequate. The tour guide is Ratima. She is friendly and nice. Have already recommended friends who is into Buddha and who is coming to Bkk soon.

Long but very enjoyable full day! Hotel pickup right on time with good information/contacts emailed 1 day before the day of activity. The guide shared good historical stories for us to appreciate the 4 parks we visited, else it might be a little boring just walking around temples and ruins, under hot sun. Very impressive and beautiful structures with rich history. Strongly recommended to visit Ayutthaya with a local guide. We had a small group of 6 in a van, with 3 other missing guests. The van could be too crowded if all 9 squeeze in. Remember to check email a day before the activity because the meeting location could be different from the listed one in the description. Our 3 missing guests didn't show up at the correct meeting location. To be fair, the booking confirmation email also reminded us to lookout for email later for the meeting time and location.

I have booked this trip through Pelago and the agency handling this is TripGuru in Bangkok. I like the communication process provided as they ensure they are reachable should we have any issues. TripGuru provided information on email, contact numbers and the guide presented on the day was friendly.
