Highlights

Cholula is considered the oldest continuously inhabited city in America. Its history spans more than 2500 years. You will be able to experience the archaeological zone, the site museum, the old Convent of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios built on the pyramid. And as a backdrop to that impressive view you can admire the majestic Popocatépetl volcano.

Walk the cobblestone streets of Cholula, visit its main square and some craft stores. Finally, be dazzled by the architectural splendor of the Church of Tonanzintla, a magnificent example of the indigenous baroque style.

The great pyramid called Tlachihualtepetl, which means "hill made by the hand of man", is considered the largest pyramid in the world thanks to its base measuring 400 meters per side. From its summit you have a privileged view of the Puebla valley and the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios, built in 1594. From above you can also see the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes. Currently there is no access to the tunnels, but there is access to the archaeological zone and the site museum.
