Founded in 1920, 'Hang Heung' began as a traditional teahouse named 'Hang
Heung Chun', later renamed 'Hang Heung Restaurant' in the 1940s, serving
traditional Cantonese dim sum and dishes. Since its transformation in the
1970s, the brand has focused on traditional Chinese pastries and snacks,
crafting and promoting timeless treats for local and overseas Chinese
communities. Over the past 100 years, Hang Heung has brought classic mooncakes
to every household each Mid-Autumn Festival, featuring their signature white
lotus seed paste, secretly crafted in their own factory. In recent years, Hang
Heung has actively introduced new technologies to develop the popular lava
custard mooncake, made with a rich, multi-layered custard egg yolk sauce that
delivers a fragrant and alluring taste.
