Tour was unhurried and insightful with this part of history. Very knowledgeable and experienced guide knows where to stop/ wait for train and best spots to take pictures from.
Enjoyed our day trip to River Kwai with Chris, an experienced guide.
Excellent
Exactly as stated in advertisment
LACK COMMUNICATION! Bus broke down told to get off bus now to stand under a tree for 40 minutes. Everything came rushed after this . Only a pack lunch for me either out a drink . On the way we changed from a big bus to a small bus. David the driver had no idea where he was going . I end up getting out before my hotel. He was constantly on his phone and showed displeasure about driving in heavy traffic and he obviously he didnt want to be working . I wouldn't recommend this company for this day tour.
Historically fascinating as you get to see the steel bridge and the wooden bridge built by POWs during WW2. It's a very long day as pick up is 6am and return to Bangkok around 5.30pm so it felt like more travel in a van than sightseeing.
Great tour, lots of info given and not pushy at all. journey between places are long with various breaks in-between so please take note if you can't stand that.
Good experience to visit 'Death Railway' and to walk over the bridge. Visit to the cemetery was moving, and the museum was very informative. We did not go under the bridge in a boat as per the trip description. I think the train trip should include going over the bridge. I am glad I did the trip
