Today, Portree is a vibrant community with a mix of traditional charm and modern amenities.

The Fairy Pools are a series of enchanting, crystal-clear pools and waterfalls nestled at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains, they offer ethereal beauty and magical atmosphere. We'll enjoy a walk up to these blue, green waterfalls - and if you're brave you could even take a dip! Make sure you bring comfortable footwear for walking and a rain jacket in case of wet weather. * Please be aware that during the winter months, weather conditions may mean that on occasion it is not possible to visit the Fairy Pools.
