Experience the natural beauty and biodiversity of Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest point in Thailand, on this full-day guided tour that combines bird watching and a local-guided hike. Whether you're an avid birder or simply a nature lover, this tour promises an unforgettable escape into Thailand's lush highland wilderness.
Begin your adventure at 5:00 am with a hotel pickup and a scenic 2-hour drive to Doi Inthanon, sitting at an elevation of 2,565 meters. This unique habitat, known for its upper montane forest and rare sphagnum moss, offers some of the best bird watching in the country. With both migratory and resident species, you'll spend approximately 2 hours on the trail, guided by an English-speaking bird specialist, to observe a variety of colorful and elusive birds in one of Thailand's most ecologically rich regions.
After your birdwatching session, enjoy a 1.5-hour guided hike led by locals who will share insights into the flora, fauna, and traditions of the area. You'll pass rice fields, flower gardens, and waterfalls, and even get the chance to sample freshly brewed hilltribe coffee prepared in a traditional way.
