Join a creative 1 hour and 30 minute pottery class and learn wheel throwing
from a professional potter in a place filled with inspiration, innovation and
creativity. This is a unique pottery class in New Zealand and a perfect all
weather activity in The Coromandel.

We provide everything you need for your class, including clay, the wheel and
aprons to keep your clothes clean. You will also have the opportunity to have
your pieces glazed, fired and delivered in a range of colours for an
additional cost.

Temporary Travel Note

Just a heads-up, State Highway 25 (Thames Coast Road) will be closed from
29 October to 5 November while essential work is done on the Boundary Creek
Bridge. This means you won’t be able to travel between Thames and Coromandel
Town along the coast road during that time.

If you’re planning to visit Driving Creek during those dates, you’ll need to
come via the east side of the Coromandel Peninsula instead. You can check the
