By Car:
• From Fukuoka City (Tenjin, Hakata, Fukuoka Airport): Leave the Island City Exit of Urban Expressway Route 6, go straight at the Gannosu intersection, and head for Uminonakamichi Seaside Park (about 7.5km from Island City Exit; approx. 15 minutes)
• From Kumamoto, Oita, Nagasaki, Saga, or Southern Kyushu: From the Dazaifu IC on the Kyushu Expressway, pass through Urban Expressway Routes 2, 1, and 6. Leave the Island City Exit, go straight at the Gannosu intersection, and head for Uminonakamichi Seaside Park (approx. 20 minutes from Dazaifu IC to the Island City Exit)
By Train
• From JR Hakata Station: Take the Kagoshima Main Line to Kashii Station (11 minutes). Then, transfer to the JR Kashii Line bound for Nishi-Tozaki, and take a 20-minute ride to Uminonakamichi Station
• From Tenjin Subway Station: Take Subway Line 2 to Kaizuka Station (12 minutes); then, transfer to the Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line bound for Nishi-Tozaki, and transfer at Wajiro Station (18 minutes). From Wajiro,
transfer to the JR Kashii Line bound for Nishi-Tozaki, and get off at Uminonakamichi Station (12 minutes)

Those with kids, this place is worth a visit. Carpark fees is low as well for whole day.

Direct entry to marine world with no issues, recommended.
It was a good family day out. Dolphin and seal show was good. Not sure what the penguins show was about, the staff put them in a cart and let them march back to the shed and that was it. Aquarium was good but if there were a bit more information about the marine life in English it would be the icing on the cake.
