Alexandria Port Shore Excursion: Pyramids & GEM with Egyptologist
For KrisFlyer members only
Highlights
Step off your cruise ship in Alexandria and stand at the foot of the Great Pyramid by lunchtime. This shore excursion gets you to Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, then back to your ship with hours to spare, with a small group of fellow cruise passengers.
Your licensed Egyptologist meets you at the port with an air-conditioned vehicle. You travel to the Giza Plateau, where you'll stand at the base of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, see the Sphinx up close, and hear the real history behind 2.3 million stone blocks. Then on to the brand-new Grand Egyptian Museum, where King Tutankhamun's complete treasures are shown together for the first time.
Then a comfortable transfer back to your ship, with at least 2 hours of buffer before sail-away.
Up to 16 travelers per departure, so you get personal attention from your Egyptologist at a friendly per-person price. Booking as a family or group of friends? You may have the tour to yourselves on quieter dates. We've been doing this since 2013.

You won't rush. Linger at the gold mask as long as you want, hear the stories behind the chariots, the throne, and the canopic shrines from someone who's studied them.
