Experience tasting Bird's Nest soup "Visiting and get to know more about Chim Yen - little birds indigenous to Southeast Asia that dwell in caves and have sightseeing Bird's Nest Buildings. The local people carefully study and build some of building. It's dark like a cave and smells of bird. Thousands of birds occupy the properties - called Bird's Nest Buildings. Some buildings are made to imitate caves that birds natural live in. Careful studies that take into consideration wind patterns and bird migration routes are made to figure out where to place the buildings. Sometimes recorded sings are played to attract newcomers Discover Edible bird's nests. It also known as swallow nests, are bird nests created from solidified saliva by edible-nest swiftlets, Most nests are built during the breeding season by the male swiftlet over a period of 35 days. They take the shape of a shallow cup stuck to the cave wall. The nests are composed of interwoven strands of salivary cement and have high levels of calcium, iron, potassium, and magnesium. Swallow nests have been used as a delicacy for over 400 years
