The whole experience was surreal! First time being up close with these majestic animals, feeding them and even scrubbing their body. It was also very humbling to hear how the shelter is looking after the elephants, from young to retired. The staff were also very friendly, took great shots from my phone, but they also have their own photographer with the pics included and sent to your email! Highly recommend trying this tour if you're ever in Krabi 🙏
It was a humbling experience seeing the retired elephants being cared for and knowing more about elephants in general. The pick-up was punctual and personnel in the activity centre were professional and patient. Safety was emphasised at all times.
