had a really great time on this tour! everything ran very smoothly from start to finish, and i really enjoyed the whole experience. the itinerary is quite packed with uluru, kata tjuta and kings canyon, so you definitely get to see a lot in just a few days. just a heads up though, this is not really a chill and relax kind of tour hahaha. there’s quite a bit of walking, early mornings, long drives (especially if you start from alice springs, its like 6 hours) and sleeping outdoors (in a tent/swag), so i would recommend it more for people who enjoy adventure and don’t mind getting a little tired. but honestly that’s also what made the experience so memorable. the group size is around maximum 20 people, which i felt was quite nice because it’s small enough that you actually get to know everyone. if you’re travelling solo, don’t worry too much because you’ll definitely make friends very quickly on this trip because everyone is doing everything together like packing the campsite and all. the tents were more spacious than i expected and there’s an actual bed and mattress inside, so it’s quite comfortable for camping. just take note that if you’re travelling solo, you’ll probably have to share the tent with someone else. also must give a special shoutout to our guide hallie!! she really took care of us throughout the trip and made sure everything went smoothly. really appreciated how much effort she put into looking after the group, especially with such long and active days. overall, i would definitely recommend this tour if you want to properly experience the red centre and don’t mind a bit of adventure. you’ll come back tired for sure hahaha but with a lot of good memories and probably a few new friends too :)
