Despite its location on a flat, urban plain, Long Bien Golf Course is designed
to be highly punishing for inaccurate shots. Nelson & Haworth has created
sophisticated man-made obstacles to challenge golfers.
Here are the core challenges you will face when conquering the 27 holes:
- Narrow and deep fairways (Course C).
- Dense system of sand bunkers.
- Extensive man-made water hazards.
- Small and steep greens.
- Psychological factor from the Night Game Lighting System.
Long Bien Golf Course is one of the most vibrant golf centers in Northern
Vietnam, consistently chosen to host large-scale championships for
businesspeople, amateur clubs, and national professional tournaments.
Notable tournaments held here include:
- VGA Tour Qualifying Round / SEA Games Qualifying Round.
- Qualifying Rounds for International Tournaments in Vietnam: WAGC (World
Amateur Golfers Championship) or MercedesTrophy.
- Hanoi Golf Club Championship (Qualifying Round).
- Long Bien Golf Course Championship.
Our driver will come and pick you up from your hotel. It will take around 30
minutes. Check-in (15-20 minutes): Go to the Clubhouse reception desk. You
will receive a locker number and a buggy with a caddy pass. Quick warm-up (15
minutes): Move to the putting green just outside the lobby to familiarize
yourself with the day's green speed. Don't skip this step, as the greens at
Long Bien are known for being fast and "slippery". This course places a strong
emphasis on the pace of play. The male caddy team here coordinates quickly,
helping you maintain a steady tempo. Use a buggy to move between holes to
conserve energy, especially on the uphill sections of Course C. Finish after
18 holes and have your meal at the golf club.
