Getting this pass would be super worth it if you plan to spend most of your time in the main Nikko area. We booked the limited express Spacia X train alongside this (you need this pass + a special Spacia X ticket to access), but we ended up walking most of the time in Nikko. But getting in and out of train stations and buses would be really easy with this pass - just flash the screen to the staff and you are good to go!
