Savor cherry blossoms and traditional Japanese sweets in a former Samurai garden.
This is a spring-only, 60-minute photo walk in the heart of Shinjuku.

The tour begins in Shinjuku-sanchome, where you'll meet your Ninja guide and head to a long-established Japanese sweets shop. Your first mission is to choose your favorite treat—colorful dango or sakura mochi (food cost not included). Through this experience, you'll discover the Japanese saying “Dumplings over flowers,” a playful way of enjoying spring beyond just sightseeing.

Once ready, we enter Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Step inside and you'll find a surprising sense of calm, far removed from the surrounding skyscrapers. This land was once home to Samurai who served the Shogun, and your Ninja guide will share the history and culture hidden within the beautiful scenery in an easy-to-follow way.

The highlight is the Japanese Garden area. Cherry blossoms surrounding the iconic Taiko Bridge create a picture-perfect scene you won't want to miss. Even if you're not confident with photography, your Ninja guide will help you capture great shots from the best angles.

The tour wraps up with a fun question: Why do Japanese people gather under cherry blossoms every spring?
Afterward, you're welcome to stay inside the garden, relax, and enjoy the seasonal atmosphere at your own pace—with sweets in hand.
