Before the afternoon wildlife exploration, this tour includes a ride on the
Kuranda Scenic Railway, a must-do experience in Cairns.
While the Skyrail is not included, this allows for a longer stay in Kuranda
compared to plans that include the Skyrail!
Recommended for those who want to see Cairns' wildlife, experience the train
ride, and have more time for shopping in Kuranda.☆
The schedule begins with an early morning Kuranda Scenic Railway ride to
Kuranda Village.
Enjoy a full 3.5 hours of free time in Kuranda Village♪ At the designated
time, you will head directly from Kuranda to join the wildlife exploration
tour.
Enjoy meeting various wild animals on the Atherton Tablelands. If the weather
is clear, you can also enjoy stargazing. It is sure to be a memorable stay!
Dinner will be a BBQ prepared by our driver at the Dokidoki Campsite.
【Kuranda Village】
Kuranda Village, the terminal station for the Skyrail/Kuranda Scenic Railway,
is a wonderful place with a laid-back and free atmosphere. Although famous as
a tourist destination, about 700 residents live here. Every shop in Kuranda
Village will welcome you with great friendliness.
- Don't forget to prepare your lunch!
You will depart for the wildlife exploration tour directly from Kuranda
Village.
Since we cannot stop at cafes on the way, please have lunch or buy a snack in
Kuranda Village.
*Due to COVID-19 prevention measures, eating inside the vehicle may not be permitted. We recommend having lunch in Kuranda Village as much as possible. Perfect for souvenirs: 'Kuranda Candy'
A shop that makes sweet, addictive candy. You can watch them being made
through the window. The packaging is cute, making them popular as souvenirs♪You can also meet koalas in Kuranda Village: 'Kuranda Koala Gardens'
A small zoo located within the Kuranda Heritage Markets. There are many
highlights in Kuranda Village, so this size is just right☆ You can take photos
with koalas here, and there are also popular Australian animals like wallabies
and wombats!
