*Mininum 2 guests per group* Join La Leyenda ECO-TOURS for an unforgettable snorkeling experience while visiting Mahahual in the Costa Maya. We begin the experience at our beach stand right next to Hotel 40 Cañones. We’ll enjoy a boat ride on one of our 25ft pangas to representative areas on the Great Mesoamerican reef, the second largest coral reef system in the world. We will visit 2 different snorkeling spots, chosen to give you a wide view of the local flora and fauna, as well as for the best possibilities for encounters based on weather and water conditions. These areas are populated with many Caribbean fish and coral species (Angelfish, Damselfish, Wrasses, Parrotfish, Grunts, Puffers and more). We may even see Spotted Eagle Rays or Green Sea Turtles. We are strictly committed to sustainable fishing practices and low-impact tourism experiences on the great Mesoamerican reef system here in Mahahual, Quintana Roo. After your trip you can relax on the beach in a hammock or enjoy some time on a paddleboard or kayak. Our area of beach is right alongside Hotel 40 Cañones and is totally free of sargassum.
