Built in 1919 as a villa in Atami, Kiunkaku passed through three owners before
finally operating as a traditional Japanese inn. Today, as the only place that
preserves Atami's culture of 'villas,' 'hot springs,' and 'inns,' it features
a Japanese-style wing that retains the beauty of traditional architecture
centered around a vast, lush Japanese garden, as well as a Western-style wing
with a unique atmosphere that blends Japanese, Chinese, and European
decorative styles, and the remains of a large Roman-style bath. On this page,
you can choose from plans that suit your preferences, such as the 'Admission
Ticket with Souvenir' or the 'Japanese Room Experience Plan,' where you can
easily enjoy Japanese culture in a room from the inn's operating days.
