【Uminonakamichi Seaside Park】
Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a national park located on the Uminonakamichi
sandbar, surrounded by the sea across from Hakata Bay, near the Fukuoka city
center. Spanning approximately 6 kilometers from east to west with an area of
about 300 hectares, it is a vast national park. Despite the harsh environment
with strong sea breezes from the Genkai Sea, the park honors the history of
the white sand and green pines that have long been recognized for their
magnificent scenery. The seasonal flowers that bloom beautifully throughout
the year are well-maintained, allowing you to encounter different landscapes
whenever you visit. The course within the vast grounds features ups and downs
and various road surfaces, making for a truly satisfying tour. There are many
other spots to enjoy, so you can visit the places that caught your interest
during the tour and enjoy the park for the rest of the day.
Itinerary
① Meeting and reception
② Pre-tour orientation. We will explain the precautions for riding a Segway and during the tour.
③ Riding lesson. A certified instructor will teach you how to ride, so even beginners can feel at ease.
④ Depart for the tour. Follow your tour guide and head out. Enjoy the guide's commentary, which shares the charm of the area alongside your Segway riding experience. Your tour guide will take photos of you during the experience. (All photo data can be downloaded for free.)
There will be a tea break along the way.
⑤ Tour ends and dismissal. After the experience, please write in the logbook to take home memories of your tour.
