Fantastic! Really great experience and very homely. Teacher Huiwen has great experience and knowledge, I’ve learnt a lot and really eye opening in craft work!
It is in a cosy setting to learn pottery with Huiwen who patiently explain and demonstrated with clarity. She helped us with troubleshooting issues too. Good time management. Thankful for her sharing of dedication and commitment to stay true to her art despite encountering challenges.
Great environment and friendly facilitators!
The pottery class was engaging and informative, led by a knowledgeable instructor who generously shared valuable insights into the craft. Held in a cosy, clean, and well-maintained home studio, the session provided a comfortable environment, and our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Fun, friendly instructor
I couldn't think of a better way to unwind and spend my Saturday afternoon. You can see the love for the art of pottery Huiwen, the owner embodies. Her lovely home is open to like-minded people to share the art of pottery. Here you get to discover yourself again. To learn, explore exercise your creativity and relax while molding simple clay into a vessel of your choice. My vessel was what you call a wabi-sabi coffee mug! Yes, not pretty to look. Rough around the edges, inside and even the carvings. But I feel that's the beauty of pottery. I went with an image of what my vessel would look like. - A perfect smooth to the touch and rounded coffee mug. I left with a rough, rustic kinda mishapened coffee mug. But through the process, I discovered myself again. So yes, my creation mirrors me! Hahaha! Thank you Huiwen and your family for opening your lovely home to us. For your open sharing as well. The introduction into pottery making at the beginning was excellent. As it put us all in the right frame of mind to enjoy our art creation process. The group size was also kept small and ideal to work with. I would definitely recommend my friends to try their hand at your studio!
