• The event is open every day during the exhibition period (the event will proceed in light rain, but may be cancelled in case of severe weather). Information regarding cancellations will be announced on the official website and official X (formerly Twitter).
• Event hours and content are subject to change or partial suspension without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances. Please check the latest information on the official website before your visit.
• Admission and usage may be restricted depending on crowd conditions.

- Admission Rules & Precautions -

• The final admission time for this event is 21:00. Depending on the length of the admission queue, reception may close before 21:00. In such cases, you will not be able to enter even if you hold a ticket.
• The viewing area for this exhibition is limited; entry to the Ninomaru Palace and Honmaru Palace areas is not permitted.
• Nijo Castle admission passes (such as the 'World Heritage Nijo Castle One-Coin Castle Owner Donation' benefits, Kyoto City Resident Annual Passport, etc.) cannot be used for entry.
• Pets are not allowed. (Excluding guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing dogs.)
• Monopods and tripods are not permitted.
• There are additional paid contents available within the venue.

- Ticket Usage & Age Requirements -

• Admission is free for preschoolers, elementary school students, and junior high school students. No ticket is required.
• Elementary school students cannot enter alone. In principle, junior high school students and younger should not attend alone; please be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or a responsible person aged 18 or older.
• Depending on the ticket type, you may be asked to present identification. If you cannot provide the necessary documentation, you may be asked to pay the price difference or be denied entry.
• Your age may be verified upon admission.
• Discount tickets for visitors with disabilities are available for the individual and one caregiver upon presentation of a Physical Disability Certificate, Rehabilitation Certificate, Mental Disability Health and Welfare Certificate, Mirairo ID, etc. Please present the aforementioned documentation at the castle entrance gate.
• Kyoto City residents or students (regardless of region) are eligible for a 500 JPY discount, and those who purchased at the disability discount price are eligible for a 250 JPY discount. Please be sure to bring identification that confirms your current address (driver's license, My Number Card, residence certificate, etc.) or your student ID. Refunds for discounts are only available during the special booth reception hours on the day of admission (refunds cannot be processed at a later date).
• The early bird ticket sales period is from 10:00 on September 3, 2026 (Thu) to 23:59 on October 22, 2026 (Thu) (Japan Standard Time).
• Tickets cannot be refunded or changed unless the event is suspended or cancelled by the organizer.
