Itinerary
Av. Sete de Setembro, 2195
Starting at Av. Sete de Setembro 2195 in the Vitória district, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and follow the coast toward Barra. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city. First stop: Forte de Santa Maria, the squat 17th-century fort set right on the shoreline. Riddles reveal how it guarded Salvador against raiders for centuries. Next comes the Farol da Barra, the oldest lighthouse in the Americas, rising from Forte de Santo Antônio. Trivia challenges dig into the shipwrecks that made its beacon necessary. Then it's up to Igreja de Santo Antônio da Barra, the whitewashed church overlooking All Saints Bay. A photo task captures its best angle before the final clues. Most groups finish in around two hours, pausing wherever the view demands it. When the last riddle falls, the leaderboard crowns Salvador's sharpest explorer.
