It’s about 25 minutes from Amsterdam by car to see the windmills. You will understand the history of windmills and the industrial production of Zaanse region. You get to see different activities, eg Verkade chocolate biscuits, cheese, clog making. We spent 3 hours there for an enjoyable family experience!
