Itinerary
— Uluru Sacred Sights & Sunset —
In the afternoon, visit Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park for a cultural experience. Stop by the Cultural Center, where you might have the chance to see local Aboriginal artists at work
Travel to the base of Uluru, where your guide will share the Tjukurpa (creation) stories and take you on a walk to the sacred Mutitjulu Waterhole, explaining ancient rock art and the cultural significance of the area
In the evening, relax at the Uluru Sunset Viewing Area with a glass of sparkling wine as you watch the iconic sunset over Uluru, with its colors changing as the sun sets below the horizon
Return to Ayers Rock Resort 30 minutes after sunset
— Uluru Sunrise & Kata Tjuta —
Travel to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku for a beautiful view of the Uluru sunrise while enjoying a warming cup of tea or coffee
After sunrise, journey to Kata Tjuta’s 36 domes. Enjoy panoramic views from a dune viewing platform before arriving at Walpa Gorge
Take a 1.3 km walking trail through Walpa Gorge, exploring the unique rock formations and creek path between two of Kata Tjuta’s tallest domes
