Itinerary

  • Busselton Jetty

    1 hoursAdmission Ticket Included
Experience the very best of Western Australia’s stunning Margaret River region on this unforgettable day tour, blending nature, heritage, world-class wine, and gourmet delights. Begin your journey with a comfortable drive south from Perth. Along the way, we will make a short refreshment stop at The Crooked Carrot Café or a convenient service station, allowing time to stretch, grab a coffee, or enjoy a light snack before continuing the journey. Arrive at the iconic Busselton Jetty, the longest timber jetty in the Southern Hemisphere, stretching 1.841 kilometres into the calm waters of Geographe Bay. Instead of walking the full length, enjoy a relaxing ride on the Busselton Jetty Train, taking in panoramic ocean views along this historic pier. This famous landmark is one of Western Australia’s most photographed coastal attractions.

Overall, it was a long day (around 12-13 hours), but it was well-organized and offers a good look at the Margaret River region

The drive was quite long (3.5 hours each way). The visit to the Bunbury market was nice -- the produce were fresh and the food is nice. The mini train ride at the Bussleton jetty was interesting. Visit to the vineyard to taste some wines was good. The walk in the forest was a bit short but nice. Too bad we didn't get to see the stingrays at the beach. Overall, I guess it was OK considering that it was just a day trip. I guess Margaret River will need at least 2-3 days to do it enough justice.
