On a clear day, you will experience a breathtaking African sunrise and be able to see Mt. Kilimanjaro to the south, Mt. Elgon to the west, and the Indian Ocean to the east. After Point Lenana, you will descend to Mintos (4,250m) where you will have breakfast, and then continue your hike to Road-head where you will stop for lunch. 20 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeAfter breakfast, you will hike to Chogoria Gate and then on to Chogoria Town for lunch and your transfer back to Nairobi. You will arrive back in Nairobi in the late afternoon having conquered Mt. Kenya!. You will be dropped off at the airport/ hotel. Please NOTE that the last 32km stretch from Chogoria camp to the park gate can be walked and from there a van will take you the rest of the way. The cost for the ride can be shared between the available clients and can be arranged by the guide {the cost is not included in the package.)
