Highlights
Our guides from Wonderful Myanmar Travel are storytellers, not script readers. We don’t follow a fixed path, we follow your curiosity. Whether you want to explore Yangon’s teashops, wander through village lanes in Dala, or admire the golden pagodas of Bago, we’ll shape the day around what feels meaningful to you.
In Yangon, you might stroll past colonial buildings, visit markets and tea shops, hop on the circular train, or end your evening with barbecue and beer on 19th Street. In Bago, visit ancient pagodas and a palace from the old kingdom. In Thanlyin, cross the river to find quiet temples and local villages. In Dala, ride a trishaw through peaceful streets, taste toddy palm wine, and meet local families. I
We’ll help plan your itinerary based on your interests—culture, history, food, or just the rhythm of local life. Think of it as your day, your story, shared with a local friend who knows every shortcut and hidden corner. Just get in touch with us today!
Itinerary
Yangon (Rangoon)
8 hoursAdmission Ticket FreeYou might begin at Mahabandoola park, the golden heart of downtown surrounded by daily city life, a peaceful spot framed by City Hall and high court and other colonial buildings. Explore the charm of Bogalay Zay Street or Pansodan Street, where teashops, book stalls, and old buildings tell stories of Yangon’s past. If you like we can also hop on the Circular Train for a slow, scenic loop through neighborhoods most visitors never see. Stop by the Chauk Htat Gyi Reclining Buddha, one of Yangon’s most graceful and serene sights. Enjoy a local tea shop experience, where the city pauses over a sweet cup of milk tea. And if you’re still around by evening, 19th Street in Chinatown is perfect for beer, barbecue, and a friendly crowd.
