JOYÀ chronicles the adventures of a rebellious teenage girl who lands in a mystery jungle in her grandfather's fanciful world. The old biologist longs to pass on to his granddaughter his unrelenting search for the meaning of life while being surrounded by a weird group of half-human, half-animal masters influenced by ancient Mayan iconography.
