Up to a 1000 feet above sea level, stunning views. In a good weather we can see Skellig Islands. Skellig Michael island with mysterious beehive huts occupied by monks from 5th century and possibly by Keltic Druids before. Second Island is called little Skellig. Wild birds sanctuary. Charming town designed by Sir Oliver William Petty who was granted this area as a part of payment for mapping of Ireland. He laid out a modern town in 1670.
