The malefic influence of Ketu is feared by all as it is defined as ‘the taker’ in Hindu astrology. All three temples were built during the reign of the Cholas between the 7th and 11th century A.D. and are reflective of the Dravidian style of architecture that is characterized by a 5-tiered central tower with ornate exteriors. At the end of the tour, enjoy lunch (own expense) at a local restaurant. After lunch you will be driven back to Trichy and dropped off at your hotel.
