The full day private tour starts at approximately 08:30 am, your tour guide will pick you up from the lobby of your Chongqing hotel. Drive around 2 hours to the Dazu County and visit the excellent representation of Chinese grotto art. Dazu Rock Carvings contains all the cliffside carvings in Dazu County. Among the rock carvings, there are more than 50,000 statues and over 100,000 Chinese characters of inscriptions and epigraphs. The most representative two major sites are Beishan Rock Carving (North Hill) and Baodingshan Rock Carving (Baoding Hill). You will see the graceful statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva in Beishan to feel the common Buddhist faith, and discover 13 groups of differently shaped stone carving figures in Baoding Hill located about 527 meters above sea level. After the full-day Rock Carvings exploration, you will be transfer back to Chongqing and dropped-off at downtown hotel.
