While passing by the biggest of them – The Great War island, you will hear about its significance for Belgrade’s history and conservation of flora and fauna. Zemun town with its Millennium (Gardos) tower is also visible from the boat. Zemun is one of Belgrade's municipalities today, but until the middle of 20th Century it was a separate town. You will hear about its turbulent history, since it was located on the Austro-Hungarian border. View from the boat to the Belgrade fortress and stunning bridges is also unforgettable!
